In Rhythm of Change, we explore body percussion by using nothing but our own bodies, or, when the setting calls for it, bucket drums, to create rhythm, sound and playful interaction. Participants learn a few simple hand signals that guide the group through improvisation, making every session dynamic, unique, and entirely its own.
Along the way, we actively practice skills that matter well beyond the workshop: following and leading, listening, improvising, exploring, and creating together. It’s a fun and energising way to break the ice in a new group, or to deepen the connection within one that already knows each other well. No musical experience is needed, just curiosity, open ears, and a willingness to join in.
Teams and organisations
For teams and organisations the workshop can go a step further. By linking body percussion to Neuro Linguistic Programming, sessions help participants become more aware of how they communicate, collaborate and adapt, turning a fun, physical experience into real, lasting insight for the team.
Schools
Rhythm of Change becomes a rich, multidisciplinary session that combines music, movement, teamwork and, since sessions are delivered in English, natural language practice, all in one go. It works for a single class, a year group, or a whole school.
Festivals and events
The workshop turns into an energiser that meets people exactly where they are, whether that’s a spontaneous crowd on a community stage or a quiet, grounded circle at a wellness event. No stage or equipment required: just people, rhythm, and a few minutes to create something together.
Two ways to play
- Body percussion: Using nothing but hands, feet and voice. No materials needed, making it the best option for larger groups, or any classroom, office or open space.
- Bucket drums: A tangible, physical upgrade that brings extra energy and visual impact to the session. A great fit for smaller groups, performances, or special events where that added punch makes the difference.
Formats
Every workshop is tailored to the group, the goal, and the occasion:
- Energiser (15 to 20 min): A quick, high-energy warm-up. Perfect as an opener, a mid-day boost, or a transition between sessions.
- Compact workshop (30 to 45 min): The full body percussion experience: listening, leading and following, improvising and creating together as a group.
- Extended workshop (up to 4 hours): Body percussion combined with NLP-based communication exercises, for teams or groups who want to dig deeper into how they connect and collaborate.
All formats are delivered in person on location. Get in touch to find the right fit for your group.
